Web Hosting - Email and Webmail
Our email system supports both POP3 and IMAP connections, the following features are available with our hosting packages. To see which features are available on each plan, see the compare plans page.
Mail Boxes
A mailbox is a single email address, for example: sales@domain-name.com. You can have as many mail boxes as your hosting plan offers, see the individual plan pages to find out how many mailboxes are available.
Mail Box Aliases
An alias is an alternate address for a mailbox, such as business-sales@domain-name.com. Emails sent to business-sales would be forwarded to the sales email address.
Mailing Lists
A mailing list allows you to create a list of users and send an email to the entire list. If you have a large customer base you wish to email regularly this can save time.
Mail Forwarding
Mail forwarding can forward emails received to a mail box to an external email address, for example a Yahoo or Hotmail account. This can be useful if you do not wish to check multiple email accounts.
Auto Responders
When an email is sent to an address with an autoresponder, the system will reply with your pre written message to acknowledge receipt of the email. This can let customers know that you have received their email and you will be in contact soon.
Junk Mail Filtering
Our advanced junk mail system filters and removes any junk mail from your mailbox.
Virus Filtering
All email received are checked for viruses by our mail system, if a virus is detected you will be notified and warned of the message.
WebMail
Webmail allows you to check and send email from anywhere in the world by simply entering your email address and password.
